The process of booking the job is completely unnatural and can be exhausting. Once the resistance of that process is released, what awaits the artist is the work. There are skills to be mastered, as well as an opportunity to do what you so dearly love, and what you know so innately. It’s about Connection-Intention-Environment and sharing your best performance each time.
Over the years the same questions keep coming up:
What am I missing in the room?
Why aren’t I nailing this audition?
How can I get on their radar?
That role was perfect for me- why couldn’t I get an audition?
How do I keep myself from being “general” in my read and create a memorable character?
